Whestcorean Sen8 declares musical chairs new election method

WHESTCOREA (DM) – The Sen8 of Whestcorea, chaired by Speaker and Senatorial Mememaster-General, James Frisch, announced that it would be using a system of musical chairs to determine who will fill the nine seats in its legislative body next election time.

In September (or perhaps earlier, if the Frisch administration is unable to survive running a minority goverment within the Sen8), the number of seats within the branch will be reduced from its current number of thirteen to nine. Twelve candidates will then be elected for Sen8orial office from the international populace and, once this is achieved, they will all take part in a game of musical chairs, operated by Congressional Mememaster-General Horatio Eden, wherein the first nine members to take a seat in the Sen8 Building after the “hahu” klaxon sounds will be awarded seats. The other three candidates will be eliminated.

The next election is scheduled for the 5th of September, 2016. Sen8ors are, following recent legislation passed in the Sen8, re-elected every three months.

Horatio Eden is Editor-in-chief of the Daily Micronational and Lord Executor of Valdsland. Mostly known for running a Minecraft let's play channel with two subs, which is the only organization he allows to advertise on the site.
